I responded to your post down the way. Sorry it took me forever. I've been lost in book world for a few days enjoying my first week of vacation.....and dealing with the AC.
Also I've been on the couch icing my shins. A lot.

I'm using you as inspiration to keep on going! I'm still feeling pretty good after the second day, but I know it will get harder. It is amazing how much stronger I already feel- it is impacting my mentality even more than my body!
It really does! I seriously never thought I'd make it this far. I know other girls run lots more but running isn't really enjoyable for me. I hate it but it's a necessary evil so, I'm proud of myself for making it this far.
I may still be on week 5 when you get there but hey, I'll get there eventually. Every year our school district has a "Cowboy to kids 5k" that benefits our scholarship foundation. I've never done it but I'm going to RUN it this year
It's in November so surely I'll be up to 5k by then!
As an aside - it's cowboys because we do it at the Rodeo and we live in Texas. Everything has cowboys in it, lol!
