Yay for Thursday! I like Thursday's generally.
Today I get a free lunch at a fairly nice restaurant for helping with our last work BBQ (though it's a nice-ish place, we go there all.the.time and the service is pretty terrible. They're lucky the food is good) and then we may be off to celebrate the birthday of one of my friends bf/our fellow baseball player tonight.
This morning I had to help Derek schlep more tile boxes from his car to the house. It's amazing how quickly one can break out into a sweat carrying heavy things.
How is everyone today?

We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?

Re: Good Morning!
I'm good today. Tonight we are going to meet up with a guy I went to high school with. We saw eachother at our reunion and he is living locally with his wife, so we are all going to dinner. It should be fun--we weren't close friends in high school, but we interlapped a lot and I think he and Ed will get along well. Really, I am trying to fix Ed up with a golf buddy for playdates
.
Either tomorrow or Saturday I am heading up to visit my best friend for the night...and sadly I am not that excited about it. She wants to go out and do some work cleaning up her barn (blech)...but I think I am just going to try to talk her into a run on the bike path there (which is gorgeous--though she hates running) and then some time lying on the beach...that would be way more fun

DH claims he'll be home early tonight. I vote I'll probably see him even later than he normally gets home on a good day. There's just something about leaving work early that his brain doesn't comprehend, even though they've been driving crazy distances and working long hours for weeks now. Last night they all went to dinner at a colleague's house after trekking back into town. He complained because he got home late. Well.....not rocket science my friend. You could've come home.
I'm hoping the furbaby decides to eat her dinner tonight. I have an odd suspicion she's waiting for us to put some goodies in her food to make it more enticing, but that's just not going to happen. She refused dinner last night and maybe at 1/3 of her bowl this morning. She should be good and hungry for dinner I would think. If not, back to the vet to figure something out. Grrr...
Sorry for the gripes today ladies. I am glad it's Thursday and almost the weekend!
Good morning! I'm at work watching the Casey Anthony sentencing. I had a good night last night. I got a few things done around the house and got to bed early. So mission accomplished yesterday. I also found out that my SIL and BIL are trying to get pregnant. So far there are no children in my family or Kyle's family, so we are quite excited to hear this news.
Today I have lunch with my brother and no major plans tonight. I'm hoping for a night similar to last night.
Good Morning Ladies!
I met up with some friends last night. We took a walk around the lake and then had some dinner.
Today will be another normal work day for me and then tonight we are going to Toby Keith's I Love This Bar to celebrate SIL's birthday. I have a feeling it will be an early one for me though.
Have a great day ladies!

Morning Ladies!
We're finally home, and it was awesome to sleep in my own bed. Today we have some errands to run and of course people will be coming over to meet Myles. It's so weird (on a good way) having a baby in the triplets room. I have to admit it was a little hard to hear baby noises coming from the nursery (in the middle of a dead sleep) but Myles was and is worth everything we've gone through.
MO - I'm so happy you finally have Myles at home with you! It's great to hear how happy you are!
Last night was pretty uneventful, I got my errands done but didn't get the grass seed spread before the rain, so I was a little bummed about that.
Tonight should be pretty low key as it's supposed to rain again. I'll probably just get some laundry done and lounge.
Good morning!
Today is a great day. I've been working out hard and watching what I eat the past few weeks and have noticed improvements. Today I jumped on the scale and have lost 9lbs so far. I'm really happy about it.
Tonight I'm going to go for a run in the neighborhood, and maybe meet DH at the park. He's been flying a little remote control plane lately there. It's a lot of fun.
Morning ladies. I can't believe it's already Thursday this week--so great. Last night was super productive. My mom came over to pick up her dog so we took both dogs to the dog park, where they had kiddie pools for the dogs to play in. Then, I ran to Crate and Barrel to pick up medicine cabinets I saw in the new catalog and got the tile ordered for our bathrooms. Everything is finally coming together. The contractor will be starting soon, so I see some before and after pics in my future.
Today should be a relatively normal work day. I'm having lunch with an old colleague, and am looking forward to catching up. Hope everyone has a good one.
Now I'm waiting for the boys to wake up from their nap and we'll be of to the shoe store for their first real pair of shoes. Then come home drop off Zach and bring Christian to the urologist.
Morning ladies! I did nothing last night. I started getting a migraine yesterday afternoon and nothing would make it go away. I laid in bed almost all night. I didn't eat dinner, couldn't read or watch tv, everything made it seem worse.
Today's plan is now to makeup for not doing anything last night. My 11 yr. old step-daughter get's here this weekend for 2 1/2 weeks.Time to put her room back together and the artwork up around the house from when the painters were there.
Hi there! Hope everyone's having a nice day so far. I am also thrilled it is Thursday!
Last night I went shopping with my mom after work. It is so nice to have her here in town for the week, I really miss living near my family sometimes. I got home really late and then was up super late (til like 2:30) doing things like taking care of moldy boots (see post above) and washing some clothes by hand that I need for this weekend since our washing machine is currently out of commission.
Tonight my sister and her new boyfriend arrive in from Michigan and they're staying with me for the night. Somehow before they arrive and after I leave work at 6:30 I need to: hit the gym, go to the grocery and liquor stores, pack for the weekend, clear out our laundry room for the repair person's visit tomorrow, and prepare various vegan (for said sister) picnic goods for the outdoor concert we're going to in the Berkshires tomorrow evening. We are all spending the whole weekend there at a B&B (H and me, parents, sisters, and sister's bf) so it should be fun. But I really don't know how I'm going to get everything done tonight.
