You mean how many times can I watch it in a weekend Big Smile

FYI- Neville and Lucious Malfoy are kinda hot (in real life that is) Embarrassed

Funny that both Malfoys are not blondes.

  • ya know, there is a theater here in st louis doing potter-polooza the day before.  all 7 movies, back to back to back to back, all leading up to the midnight showing of part 2.

if I didn't have a 4 year old and was due in oh about 20 days, I'd so be there.

now I just have to find a babysitter for the girl so I can see potter before baby shows up.  ack.

  • G- I think some theaters are doing the same thing here in town. I thought about purchasing a ticket, BUT I have all 7 movies and rather do it at home, in my own space, crawled up with a blanket. Maybe you can get your DH to take the kids out for a day and you can have your own marathon.

I'm going to the Gulf Point AMC for the marathon!! DH is in charge of picking up DS all next week, it is a mini-vaca for me!  I am beyond excited.

  • I'm 37 weeks pregnant.  sitting through one movie is hard to do for me right now. pee break every half hour or so..... I can't imagine all 7 piled on at one time.  I'd go into labor, I know it.

I think I have to wait till the weekend of the 23rd before I can get my babysitter for Belle, as DH would have a FIT!!!! if I went to see the last potter without him.

but if this baby is like Belle, I'll go into labor the night before I go see it.  I was going to go to the 10AM showing of Pirates 3 when little miss decided to send me into labor about 10 hours prior to the movie.  oh well.

  • I can't wait to see it... Thursday at 7 pm, suckas! Sadly, my mom is taking my 3rd ticket. I was going to make Papar and Selena duke it out, but mom trumps. I'll get free babysitting every other night of the week she's here for the ticket!

I honestly feel bad when all the kids are lined up in their Hogwarts gear at 7, waiting for the midnight premier, when we stroll in to the screening. But not bad enough to not go. Bwahhhh ha haha haha!

  • V - you're moving down on my list of friends!

I've declared this weekend an HP movie marathon.  We'll just play them all back to back.  Thursday night we're watching 7.1 with my sister and a friend.

Friday morning...its on!  We're having breakfast, taking Cooper to school and heading to the movies.  I'm almost as excited about the fact that I don't have to find a sitter since he'll be at daycare as I am about the movie!

  • Trumped by free babysitting.  Completely understand that.

It would have been cool to duel cali for the ticket though image

I told Ray that my plan was going to be to make you post one pro-Obama status a day on FB to earn your ticket! LOL. I'm kinda sad I'm not going to get to do that. ;)

roflmao.  what could S come up with?

    he is a good speaker.

    he has a nice body.

his melodic voice puts me right to sleep.

his wife has great arms and he encourages her to show them.

uh oh. Papar would probably win!

Stop stealing the few good lines I have.  I had to think hard even to get there.  He did play a part in the capture of Bin Laden.  I'll give him props for that.

Back to searching for more things to post in case this duel happens.  People will think I've lost my mind.  Little do they know how deep my love for all things HP go.  This would be my service like Snape Big Smile

It premiers here on July 14th, so if I can get a babysitter, I'll see it even before Viula.  So nyah nyah!  Big Smile

ETA: Dude, I can't do math.  The first showing here isn't until 10:30, so Viula will beat me by 2 1/2 hours.  Damn!  Nyah nyah back at me.

  • It was huge! I was in London for work last week and we were told to avoid the area at all costs. The red carpet stretched from Trafalgar to Leicester Square.  Best part was that the media kick off was at our hotel last week. Here's the picture of Emma outside the event.

she is so pretty!  I love the dress she wore to the premier too.

I'm still looking for a date to see the movie with.  Any pearlanders interested in making it a GTG?

Yeah, I am so bad at math.  In fact, I am so bad that I was right the first time. if I were to see any showing prior to 8:30 am on Friday (my time), I would see it before you.  That won't happen though, since Scott can't go on Thursday, and he would right kill me if I went without him. I'll have to settle for Saturday night. Ah well.
