Name your favorite cough suppressant.
DH and I both got the same little cold last Friday. Slight sore throat, a little bit congested, achy in the neck/gland area. DH is much better and I was feeling just fine until yesterday when I developed a cough that just won't stop. I went from totally fine yesterday to little-to-no voice today. My natural honey center drops just are not cutting it so I'm going to run out during lunch for the good drugs.
What should I get?

Thanks everyone! It's such a p.i.t.a. because I feel totally fine but I sound like I've been a smoker for 30 years and am about to hack up the last bit of what used to be a lung. What peeves me even more is that DH actually is a smoker and somehow his lungs avoided this part of the cold. Not cool healthy, smoke-free, lungs. Not cool at all.
On that note, I'm off to the drug store to pick up my OTC lunch!
