Third Person Thursday
Stacey woke up with a splitting headache. She thinks if that's the only side-effect from these Godforsaken fertility drugs she gets, it's worth it.
Stacey is so mad at work. They all got an email about two weeks ago that several buildings would be closed tomorrow to fix an electrical problem. Stacey's building is one of those. That meant Stacey had a three-day weekend, so she made plans to visit her BFF in St. Louis. Well, campus got an email last night that the buildings might not be close and they would let everyone know THIS AFTERNOON. She won't be coming to work tomorrow regardless.
Stacey is sleepy.

Mar wishes Summer a Happy Birthday! And hopes her day is fantastic.
Mar's "old man" dog is at grooming today (he's a husky hybrid and his hair is ridiculous!) and then he's going to the vet to get shots, so she's enjoying only having two dogs to deal with. And she's not letting the other dogs out of their crates just yet, they're sleeping and she's enjoying a pet free home because the cat is also upstairs, asleep.
Mar's house is a disaster, but her daughter has been cat napping this week so there's been no time to clean! She took an hour nap yesterday, but it took 45 min to put her down, and then she woke up half an hour into it. Soooo, not much was done then either. Plus Mar was baking her chocolate coca-cola cake during nap time, which is much more important than a clean house.
Mar is laughing at herself, because even though she types "Mar" she thinks her full name.

Dani is excited to spend a relaxing 2 days at the beach this weekend.
Dani wishes her feet would stop swelling because she can barely fit her feet in any shoes anymore.
Speaking of QOTD, Dani got her hair cut (about 3-4 inches) and highlighted last night. It feels so much better and lighter.

Shelley is excited that the crib her parents ordered should be arriving by Monday. Shelley is hoping it shows up tomorrow or Saturday and DH can put it together this weekend. Shelley tracked it last night and it had arrived at and departed from NJ and is on the way to CT - about 3-4 hours from NJ.
Shelley is looking forward to the couples massage that she is going to schedule shortly for her and her DH as his birthday present. Her DH said that is what he wanted and he won't go alone so Shelley gets to benefit from a massage too.
Alicia needs the elevator to be fixed at work. Normally Alicia isn't such a lazy sack of poo but going up 3 flights of stairs at least 4x yesterday took a lot out of her.
Alicia's nose is really stuffy and she wishes whatever this is that she caught would go away fast.
Alicia thinks she and Dani need to coordinate their beach trips better. Alicia was there last weekend, Dani is there this weekend and then Alicia is back NEXT weekend.
Alicia just received the cutest flip flops for Natalie from some Brazilians she trained at work a couple weeks ago. They seriously make you go "AWWWWW". It kind of made the job worth it for 5 minutes
Teresa tried some home remedies on her mosquito bites last night since they were itching like CRAZY. She tried a salt past(mildly effective, but hard to get it to stay on if she wanted to move), aloe(most effective) and toothpaste(which turned gray after a few minutes and stained her skin). She still is itching today though. GRRR
Teresa is excited that yesterday they finally posted the permanent postition for her to apply for at the company she works for. She spent most of last night working on her resume, and will finish it off tonight when she gets home so she is able to submit tomorrow. She knows it's not a gaurantee, but she has a good feeling about it.

Whitney keeps hitting a wall with her energy and it seems like it is not even when she does anything. However, she knows she needs to get her lazy butt up and out to the gym today since her and Ben can not go tonight. Plus she has a ton of little things that she needs to do around the house to get ready for her parents visit this weekend/finally getting some of the major things done for the nursery.
Whitney had a dream where she laid into her mom about all the crap she pulled the past few years and now still feels angry.

Summer wants Alicia to know that she read that pregnancy can make your nasal passages swell (like everything else, right?) and many pregnant women feel stuffy all the time. So it may not go away till October :P.
Word! Mar felt congested from 2nd tri on, luckily it went away after Felicity arrived. My boss however was congested for months after her LO arrived.

Shelley has had the sniffles pretty much from conception. Some days are definitely worse than others. Shelley's allergies are not helping. Shelley hopes Alicia isn't gettin sick and it's just another fun pregnancy symptom.
Yep, this is one pregnancy symptom I have had the whole time. It could be worse but a cold that last 6 months long is ridiculous.
