S/O Interview

How long has it been since you interviewed? I believe this is something that most people can improve. I haven't been on an interview in about a year.

Re: S/O Interview

  • It was a little over a year ago when I got my current position. Prior to that, it had been about 3 years.

  • A little under a year ago.
  • September 2010. Before that I had interviewed in May 2010, and then also had internship interviews in May 2009. I think interview skills can always be improved. It never hurts to work on your skills.

  • I last interviewed about a year ago. I agree about interviewing skills always being able to be improved. I was told to never turn down an interview, because every interview is good for practicing your skills even if you don't end up wanting the job.

  • August 2008. I think while I am on maternity leave I am going to put my resume out to a few companies just to see what else is out there. Hopefully I will get a couple interviews then.

  • March 2006, and I definitely am not the best interviewee. I either clam up or over-share (shocking, I know).

  • I interviewed last November for my current job, before that it had been about four years.
  • My last was a little less than a year ago. It was only for a 4 month detail within the same employer, though, so it wasn't as high stakes. plus, no salary negotiations or anything like that. I got the detail and am still here 9 months later.

Ironically, I never actually interviewed for the job I've had for the past 6 years. While in college, I was accepted for an internship, which was basically a paper application only. Then, after graduation, I was hired on by the group I interned with, so no interview.

I guess that means I've never gotten a real job based on an interview. Does that make me the least experienced here? :)
