Re: Caterers
I love Olympia Catering (although they can seem to be a bit pricey if you are looking at the packages, although they don't nickle and dime you for other services like a few others do)
If you are looking more for dropping off and not serving the food their prices are more in line with other caterers.
I did not enjoy Affordable Catering when I had my tasting or their lack of response when trying to get in touch with them for other information. Although I know other people who have had a great experience with them. Their name is Affordable Catering for a reason.

The caterer I used for my wedding, Nellie's, was in Sarasota, but I imagine they will travel to the Tampa area. I initaially chose them because of the 4 approved caterers for my oiginal venue, they were the most reasonable one, coming in thousands less than the next most affordable one. And they let you supply your own alcohol (if permitted by your venue). Because of their decent pricing, I expected good, solid service and was blown away with how awesome they were. I've now been to serveral weddings they've catered and the food has been the most memorable of any other weddings I've been to. I could not recommend them enough.

What kind of event are you hosting? There are a lot of restaurants that have affordable catering if you don't need full service like flatware and linens and servers. If you do need full service, check out Creative Catering by Design. They are super reasonable and great service.
