I am so excited for this weekend
DH is driving to a wedding in North Carolina with his friends (just left a half hour ago) and will be gone until Monday night, so May and I are loading up the kitty cats and headed to my parents three hours away for the weekend at 2 p.m. today. I am pumped!
As much as I love DH, he is really high strung and I could use some relaxation not having to worry about whether or not he is having a good time! Not to mention- built in babysitters at Grandma and Grandpa's...beautiful.
What's everyone else up to this weekend?

My sister and some of her friends are throwing a pool party on Saturday and then going out to the bars, so my mom volunteered to take JJ on Saturday and Sunday so I can go. I'm totally excited - this will be TWO weekends in a row I get adult time with someone other than my mom. I love my mom, don't get me wrong, but I do miss getting time with people my age.
I really need to get my nails done, too. And finish cleaning. And figure out what outfits we're wearing for family pictures next weekend.
That is awesome, Melissa! Enjoy- maybe you can get out a little while your parents watch M?
What day is it today? Thursday? Right...I have 2 appts w/ my therapist(s) today. Joy. I dressed A up in a dress and ruffle butt bloomers to bring her to my sisters. Yeaaah....My sis and mom are watching her while I go to appt.Tonight, same old same.
Tomorrow, my sister is coming by w/ her younger son. He has this screaming thing right now. It sometimes gives me a headache. I love him dearly, but it's LOUD. May tell another friend she can swing by in afternoon.
Saturday, nothing really planned. Sunday, may have a couple friends visit. Oh and our crib set is in. Yay!!
It's Wednesday. Don't feel bad. I thought yesterday was Thursday. When you don't work, it's so easy to lose track of days. I do it every summer. When I'm at school, I'm always looking at a calendar so, when I'm not, my days get scrambled. I can only imagine how it's going to go with a newborn!
I hope your appt goes well. I know you don't want to take meds but if you need them, then you do. It's not the end of the world. When my therapist wanted me to take them after we got married, I had a really hard time with it. I felt awful that I was having to take meds but eventually I got over it and you realize it's what is best for you. I'd come hang out if I lived closer. It's not like I'm doing anything!

This is why I don't like holiday weekends that include a Monday...I get so lost the rest of the week.
Ah, hell! I told you all! 4th of July threw me off. I was feeling good for actually knowing what day it is except I didn't. I totally judge by my workouts and my workouts are a day off because of the holiday.
I'm so sorry Jax! You were right!!!! I'll go take the walk of shame now....

Getting together with some friends we haven't seen in a while on Saturday so hopefully that goes well (meaning with Carly - evenings are her fussy time anyway, and it's been a rough week with the daycare transition and she won't be at her own house, w/ her own stuff. oy! now i'm nervous).
Other than that just trying to get the house in order and prepare for the next week. Oh, and get a sh!tload of birthday gifts (mom, dad, nephew and 3 coworkers!) and finish stuff for SIL's baby shower next weekend.
Friday night I think we're going to the movie to see the Evil Bosses movie or whatever it's called. Last I checked it had 89% on Rotten Tomatoes.
Saturday I'm having a baby
Sunday I'll be in the hospital and probably in a state of shock.

I'm going to have to check the board/FB from my mom's place this weekend!
And...the FB stalking will commence on Saturday morning. Squee!!
