Beer Garden?
I remember last year or the year before there was a lot of talk about a great beer garden in the outer boroughs (I have Queens in my head.)
Can somebody remind me where it was? Maybe we can schedule a weeknight GTG or something if anyone's interested.

I'm not a big fan of Studio Square, but I love the Bohemian Beer garden! been going there for years! WE had a knottie GTG there once, right before I got married, so that's how long ago that was :-) Kenia came, I remember.
I'm down for another one! My dance schedule is crazy this summer, I'm teaching Wed - Friday evenings. But I'm down for a Monday or Tuesday! Maybe we can do one with the DH's? I know my DH would be so sad if I got to go to the beer garden and he was stuck at home with the baby!
The original is in Astoria as Pokey mentioned. But there are a bunch of newer ones in the outer boroughs as well as Manhattan.
Studio Square is fun, quite spacious, and easy to get to even from Manhattan.
I'm interested in the newer Batali & Bastianich one on the roof of Eataly called Birreria.

And to respond, yes, I would love to do a beer garden GTG. Especially during the week.
Dumb question: do they only serve beer? Or do they have wine or other beverages?
And, yes, I would be down for a weekday GTG!

Depends on the place. Some have a small selection of other beverages, some have a larger selection. Studio Square also has a pretty amazing sangria. Bohemian Hall has a limited selection inside the building.
