So yesterday's appt. with Christian was tough for me. I don't know what came over me, but when the doctor looked at me and said, I think we should schedule him for surgery, I got all teary eyed. He was not able to find his testicle, but where he felt it last November, he thinks he may either be underdeveloped up in his stomach or one of the tubes (sorry don't remember the correct terminology). So it is best to go in so that when he is older, he will not end up with infections amongst other things.
Ugh, so he will be having surgery probably some time in Sept or Oct. When DH woke up before work, I told him and lost it. I cried like a baby for about 20 minutes. I know it is a minor surgery, but the thought of one of my boys being put under (at so young), and then have that area cut up some, makes me upset.
Anyhow, that is the outcome and I will be glad when all of this is over.

Oh Kathy, ((big hugs))...it is totally understandable that you are upset...it just means that you are an awesome mom. You know he'll be okay, but that doesn't make it any less stressful or scary for you! Just remember, at least taking care of it now means he won't yet really understand what is going on, so it will be less stressful and scary for him...
