i guess i forgot to XP to here. (pr)
i know some of you saw my XP on GP. i'm too lazy to go get the link (sorry), but to sum up: it doesn't look good. my numbers aren't doubling like they should. i go back on monday for another blood draw and to see the dr. i'm feeling like she just expects the numbers to confirm what she already feels is the case (a loss, or will be really), but who knows. my levels increased, but barely.
i think i need to stop thinking that we will be cut a break and not struggle with absolutely everything in our lives. obviously our cookie doesn't crumble that way.
back to the drawing board..possibly. i'm a miserable mess. ugh.

Thank you, I needed that. If for no other reason than to chuckle with the perfect use of emoticons!!
DH has been googling his rear off (and apologizing for not knowing enough sooner..he shudders at the word "ovulation" so we had to rename it to "smiley face day(s)") and is far more optimistic than I am. I saw one similar story on GP crop up, and the RE I saw in May called me back (I made some frantic calls this morning..oops) and said they had the same thing happen to a patient last week and she's fine now. So, here's hoping. I'm just not feeling like that's going to be the case. My syptoms are vanishing and my gut does not tell me that there is hope. I hope that everyone else out there hoping and praying is enough to do the trick!
I'm glad you liked it! I almost took the emoticons out...but thought that would be a bad move!
I saw a few things that said sometimes beta numbers don't double because the pregnancy starts out as twins and one is lost. Either way, I'm keeping everything crossed for you and will be stalking you on Monday to get an update (I wish I had an overly-excited stalking emoticon to insert here).
