What is the ideal frequency of sex in your opinion?

I think 3-4 times a week would be ideal for me. We probably average out to slightly less than that.

I agree, 3-4 times a week. Lately it is non-existent as we wait for my D&C follow-up, but usually it ends up being about twice a week (at least during the school year...)

I'm curious to know if there is anyone whose ideal would be every day. I guess it sounds nice in theory....but I get chafed, yo. (Plus I don't know if I'd have the energy for it everyday.)

On the other end of the spectrum, are there people who would be perfectly happy with once or twice a month?

I agree with 3-4 times. I'd say we also average a little lower than that lately.

I'm happy with once or twice a week, and we're lucky to hit once or twice a month. I'm hoping after baby comes and we're given the okay, things can heat back up. I really attribute most of my lack of mood to my birth control. I think I'll be trying something different and non-hormonal this go round. DH should be happier, too.

Since Myles it's been daily. After the triplets until Myles it was sporadic at best. I'd like to get back to the 3-4 times a week action happening though.

We're a consistent 3-4x most often, but are currently rocking an empty nest (kids are at the other parent's house) so it may or may not be 5-6 right now. Cool

Once or twice a month would be unacceptable (under normal circumstances - barring any injury or illness of course).

Another vote for 3-4 times per week. I'd say that we generally average close to 3. Right now with Kyle working oot though it's more like 1-2 since he's only been home a night or two each week.

I'd say 3 - 4 times a week, but we usually only manage on the weekends, so we're getting about 2 - 3 right now.

I agree...3-4 times a week, and we usually get to 2-3 times a week. I cannot imagine doing it only once or twice a month.

Ideal for me would be 3 times a week. But sadly neither of us have been "in the mood" much lately so we've been averaging more like 3 times a month. Sad

I would love if it could be even 3 times a week. We still haven't DTD since we had Olivia. Hopefully we can have a date night and my mom will watch her because I'm seriously dying for it right now.
