Who wants a big metal chicken?
I got this text last night from my mother:
"Guess what I just saw in a store in St Michaels? Knock knock mother clucker! It is an exact duplicate but looks to be about 3 feet high, going to price it tomorrow!"
(my mother does not swear, even in a text message)
So I said "that is AWESOME, you have to put it on the porch for dad. At least it's not towels!"
she said if it was too expensive she would just take a picture. I said she needed to take a picture of herself with the rooster.
Then she says - "15th anniversary?? I was thinking 4th!!!"
Our 4th anniversary is next month. Now I'm terrified I'm going to come home one day to a big metal chicken on my front stoop.
So apparently, should you need a big metal chicken (a Beyonce, if you will), you need to get down to St Michaels.
If there is anyone out there in nestland who missed it - this is what inspired this.

On that note, has anyone seen the TV commercial with the dog chasing the yellow chicken car? It totally reminds me of that blog entry.
