I'm looking to get a new one. I always buy one that's in the $30 dollar range so it's not the cheapest but not the nicest one in the store. I've been looking at them and I'm wondering if it really would be worth it to invest in a good one that costs more. Does anyone have one and does it really make a difference in your hair?
Re: Hair Dryers
I got a good one about 3 or 4 years ago and it's still going strong. It's a Rusk - my hairstylist got it for me at a discount but I think Ulta sells the same one for about $80. The heat gets super hot, but it does have 3 heat settings and 3 speed settings. I noticed a big difference in my hair with using it and a friend of mine who used it while we were on vacay together ran out and bought the same one after she got home. Before this one, I always used a conair or something with "ion" in it. The only problem is now everything else doesn't dry my hair the same so I cart it everywhere with me. I always have to bring my own when we go to hotels anyway though, those little dryers are a joke for my mane. I need speed and heat.
I would definitely check Ulta because they have a lot of nice dryers and they run coupons/sales often. But I'd definitely rec mine!

My little nuggets
I bought this hair dryer a few months ago. http://www.ulta.com/ulta/browse/productDetail.jsp?productId=xlsImpprod1080050#details
I love it but I'm not obsessed with it. I definitely recommend an ion dryer, it definitely dries faster than my old one. I got this one because it was light, my weak pathetic arms get tired drying my hair. This is the lightest one I could find that had power.
