Confessions
To liven it up a bit....
* I applied for and interviewed for a job that is a stretch for me. I am now freaking out that I might get it, based on the interview. What was I thinking? It will require me to work more and I'm just getting back into a good groove with work/life balance.
* I decided to just leave BIL's wedding early b/c all of my plans for babysitting fell through and I don't trust many people to drive with my child for the 30 minutes from the wedding site to our home. This is likely not going to go over well with the fam, esp since I'm in the wedding.
* My brother really ticked me off in March and since then. So I'm thinking of leaving him off DS' birthday party invite list. One way or another, he needs to figure out his family cannot be continually sh!t upon.
* I am currently listening to required continuing education modules online. I am nesting at the same time, so I'm probably not really "learning".
Re: Confessions
1. My stepkids are here for the summer, and my stepdaughter is going to her first slumber party tonight and says to DH "I canNOT go to a slumber party without a sleepinh bag AND a pillow pet Dad!". Poor DH was at WalMart last night weeding thru the bin looking for the magic Purple unicorn, lol. Ah the joys of parttime parenthood..NO CLUE what a PillowPet was!
2. I have been eating pizza everyday, it's ridiculous but I literally crave it every day
3. I want one of those watches EVERYONE has now that are a colored sporty band, and a flashy rhinestone face..you'd know it if you saw it. I'm going to buy one tomorrow
4. I've been trying to rent "Beastly" at Redbox for 4 days, and it is always out..why do I even want to see this movie?
1. Just for you Lisa....I did my armed intruder training yesterday with the sound off while I was nesting. I'm pretty amazing for getting all the quiz questions right
2. I've been craving donuts like a mad woman for the last few weeks. I could probably live on pizza and donuts. Yum!
3. I *wish* DS would sit down for a movie. This lady gets tired sometimes and that kid is nonstop all the time. Can a 2 year old be given Ritalin? Kidding...kidding.
4. DH is going golfing tomorrow. He said he wouldn't b/c we don't really have the extra money. It's really nice that he's concerned but I told him to GO! I'm probably going to take E to the zoo or Children's Museum and I'm really excited!

1. I am currently listening to the Armed Intruder training...while doing the same as the two of you
2. The inlaws are coming tonight. FIL, when asking to go out to eat, told us to "just feed that girl some pizza for crying out loud!" Regarding Peyton and her Celiac. According to him, it is a phase she will outgrow. He's about to get his Corona dumped in his face.
3. The ILs want to take all three girls back to Western Nebraska from Monday until Thursday (why they can't just stay here to visit is beyond me). While I am excited that they finally want to take an interest in their grandkids, the fact that they have met Mara ONCE in her life worries me that she will not have any of it. And this is her first time away from me, I am unnecessarily sad about it.
4. I have been a hormonal mess this week for no reason. Like, I am embarrassed for the paranoia and meltdowns I have had.
1. I got a babysitter to watch the girls so I could go lay on a raft at my parents pool by myself...and I am beyond excited about it.
2. I made mini buffalo chicken eggrolls to take to a party tonight, and I just ate 4 of them in 4 minutes.
I'd love that recipe, sounds delish! LOVE buffalo anything:)
1) The armed intruder training was my favorite. So dramatic! On that note, someone called me to ask me a MoO work-related question. Makes me feel like I'm missed just a little and I hope it makes someone realize how valuable I was. Unfortunately, that person probably isn't who I would want it to realize how valuable I was.
2) I am loving my new job. It's such a small company and chatting with the CEO during a meeitng about family is really kind of refreshing. And the fact that he comes by my desk often is pretty nice, I like that my work is important to him.
3) I am meeting some ladies tonight that I haven't seen in probably 10 months. Or longer. Geez, I'm out of touch, but I am excited to catch up!
4) My house is filthy dirty from me being out of town last night. Need to clean big-time this weekend.
5) I ordered some Vitamuffins and I am super excited to see that they delivered and are on my doorstep. Hope they don't melt before I get home!
1. I'm back on WW today and had La Mesa for lunch. But at least it was delicious and I have watermelon for a snack later.
2. I hate this job. I like that they are giving me more responsibility and things to do, but I'm still sooo bored. I really hope I get a raise or I pry will start looking for something else.
**I know what kind of watch you are talking about. I reallly want one and of course my MIL just got one! That kind of ruined it for me. However I do still want one.

My boss said she got hers for 20.00 at some boutique in the strip mall behind Nobbies..that is where I"m headed...
I got mine from the little gift shop area inside of Garbo's in Regency. It was $17 for the big face ones and maybe $14 for the small face ones. I just saw a $hit ton of them at Manglesens I think... maybe in the customer service glass case?? I've also seen them in the gift area at Cracker Barrel. I have a bright red one

* Having Mason was the best thing that could have happened to DH and I, it has brought us 1000x closer.
* I have a co-worker that is absolutely clueless about having to watch money. I mentioned applying for financial aid for medical bills to her and she looked at me like she had no clue what I was talking about and asked why I didn't just pay it. If I had that kind of money lying around I would, but I don't. She always talks about her "budget" which kills me because I know she doesn't need one and has no clue.
* On that same subject sometimes I feel guilty for applying for financial aid for medical bills, but if they're going to help then why not?
* Last night I took M to MIL to watch him so I could clean my house. I felt bad because I hadn't seen him all day, but my house was a disaster.
I asked for a white one for my bday.
My cousin sells them through the purse party thing she does, so I think you can get them at any type of place like that...the place you are talking about behind Nobbies is probably Pinky Winks.

I paid $30 for a white one in Florida BUT Posh Princess has them for like $15!
