I barely ever post over here, but was hoping you all could rec a Pilates studio. I work at Astor Place, so that would be ideal, but I can pretty easily get to anywhere on the N or 6 line.
Thanks ladies and happy Friday!
Re: Pilates rec?
Are you looking for mat or reformer Pilates?
I know of a couple of places in the Union Square area from some personal connections. (My childhood friend has been a trainer in the area for 15 years.)
The Crunch gym over there used to have good Pilates instructors but I think they have all been relocated since they closed down one of their locations there.
There is a place called Core Pilates or something like that. I have heard good things.
I know a couple that do training in that area as well. The wife is a dancer and does Pilates training coupled with weight training; the husband does boxing and weight training. Unfortunately, I think they are exclusively with private clients now. I think they were pretty much doing one-on-one training with celebrities and the like when I last spoke to him. I can look into it, though, if you are interested.Haven't had a direct experience but my hubby recommends Pilates on Fifth. He's danced with the owners, Kimberly and Katherine, in the past and says they're wonderful.
here's the website

Thanks for the recs-
