Arrg vet frustrations
My vet charges almost $2.50 more per pill then Costco for Rowans heart meds. So I'd like to get it filled at Costco. They (the vet) always give me the run around when I try to get them to write a script for it. ARRG I save over $10.00 by getting it filled there!
Today I finally got the Dr. on the phone (cause the desk gave me the.."umm you're gonna have to talk to the Dr. about that...we don't write scripts... and he's not gonna be in because of the holiday..." even though I did it last time and got the SAME run around.
So he gives me the "black market pills are gonna kill your dog" speech and I said if you'd like to price match I would love to buy from you. So he did. Great!!
So I grab the box to give Rowan his last pill and realize that i had 2 refills!! Bah I totally didn't even NEED the hassel! Son of a B*tch!

I am sorry, but I just LOL'd at "black market" pills from Costco, really?? It isn't like you were buying them from Ebay or CL, it is a regular store.
I've had a vet give me the run around about getting dog meds other places. The vet who did it treated me like a complete idiot (on that occasion and others). Needless to say we don't take our dogs there anymore. I also think it's funny that the vet called the pills "black market", it's not like you told him you were going to buy them in an alley.
