I havent seen McD in like a week either and shes usually pretty active.
Helloooo! A little birdie told me that I was being looked for, so I came in to say hello.
Work has been ridiculously out of control lately and I have a lot of personal crap going on that I just really don't have time for the Niner board much these days. Sorry ladies. I wish it was that I was too cool for you all. That life seems much more fun and exciting than the one I've been living.
I hope you're all doing well. All the new moms and soon to be moms, I hope you're babies are doing fabulous!

Hey Jill and Riss!
How have you been?
Jill, are you still pursuing the teaching gig?
Not exactly...I did research on it and there's a lot of hours that I'd have to put in a classroom as a teachers aide or the like while I'm working toward the degree - right now, that's not a financial option for me.
However, I talked to my boss about it and she suggested I look into Learning and Development certificate programs which would allow me to get my feet wet in some type of teaching capacity - and it may even be something I can get tuition assistance from with my current job. So, I think I'm going to take her advice and look into that. Then possibly try and see if I can find a job in a career services department on a college campus or something.
