As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I just need to whine: being an adult sucks sometimes
There is a big backstory here, but I don't want to go into it all on the internets. A close family member has just had a serious medical incident that will result in a total lifestyle change (think assisted living type of change) immediately. It also means this person now has to give up their pets... and these animals are like children so this is going to be devastating to my family member. (And me because I know these animals well and can't just take them myself.)
I swear, sometimes I just wish I could go back to being 10 years old when I didn't have a care in the world. I hate this part of being an adult - seeing family members hurting and getting older.

Being adult is no fun sometimes, but you can't tell that to a kid who's never experienced both sides. Makes you really appreciate even the boring times of childhood
