art in the park

I assume this is like an art festival?  Probably boring for young kids, right?

I need to find something to do with my kids. I need to take my mind off some bad news I just got.  ugh

  • We have taken our son to things like this before, but he is 2 and still likes to be pushed in the stroller and look around.

We live right by downtown Plymouth and plan to take him this weekend.

I think it just depends on your child.

I am sorry about the bad news though.

  • It's an art fair, but there's also tons of booths set up with food and crafts people made.  The center of it is a giant park for kids to run around in and play in.  It's really fun and there's always tons of kids there when I go.  You should take them and go!

Yes Plymouth. Sorry, I didn't realize there were multiple events with the same name.

  • Yep, an art festival.  I don't know how kid friendly it is.  The streets get very crowded and it's art....not something kids are usually terribly interested in.  Maybe if you kept them in Kellogg Park it would be fun for them?  There are food vendors and possibly space to run around.  I don't remember the setup from last year, but I just recall it being crowded everywhere.

  • I will be taking my kids this weekend, they love to people watch and walk around.  I wouldn't take little ones to the one in Ann Arbor though, too big and crowded.

  • I go each year to Art in the Park in Plymouth w/girlfriends, it's a girls day out for us.  It's a little bit of everything.  In the Kellogg Park area it's mostly items that are for kids, and I think sometimes activities too, so it might work for your 3 yr old.  We usually skip that area since I don't take the kids.
