T-Mobile users: questions about service in DC
DH and I have had AT&T cell service for years, but now our contract has run out and we're looking at other cell carriers.
We stopped in the T-Mobile store yesterday and liked several of their smart phones, plus their rate plans were slightly cheaper than AT&T.
If you have T-Mobile as your cell carrier, do you like it? Do you have a lot of dropped calls? Can you get service in the Metro tunnels?
Any thoughts or advice is welcome! Thanks!
Re: T-Mobile users: questions about service in DC
Just keep in mind that AT&T is trying to buy T-Mobile. So switching now may just mean moving back to AT&T in a year or so...
Metro opened up their underground network in the last few years, so if TMO didn't buy into the network I imagine you could still roam on AT&T's.
AT&T is buying Tmobile so they can acquire their network as it's 4G.
I've had tmobile for 10 years and have never had an issue. Now I do not commute via metro so I can't answer the tunnel question. We are very happy with their coverage though. We've traveled all over and haven't had problems. Every now and then I may drop a call but its not common for me. We have a family plan and have changed things through the years and they have always been very helpful to us.
