how much to pay my sis

when she is house sitting for two weeks?  I think she'll be going to my mom's for most meals and such, but how much should I leave for her for her time?  She'll be watching the dogs, but they're pretty easy, and watering the grass/plants.

Re: how much to pay my sis

  • Is she single, no family or anything?  If so.. maybe $50.  If she's got a family/husband she's going to be away from, I'd give her $100 or so.

  • She's 19 and is going to be staying her the whole time.  I think she's going to love it because she has this house to herself for two weeks!  Her BF, who has extremely strict parents, is going to be house sitting for his brother just down the street almost half the time too, so I'm sure he'll be over here quite a bit.
  • I would say 100/week. You have to think about how much you would spend if you kenneled your dogs for 2 weeks.

I agree with this, I think $75-100 week is fair. Kennel is $20 a day/dog that way she will want to do it again, should you need her to :)
