Poll: Simple Pleasures
Every week on WPOC listeners will call in with their simple pleasures for the week. I thought we should post ours for this week too. (Hoping to get this board moving again!)

Spending some time out with an old friend. Last night I got together with one of my high school friend and it was really great chatting again. I really need to start getting out more without the baby.

I feel you on the "getting out w/o LO" thing, too... I could probably count on one hand the number of times I've done it since he was born, but I definitely always think that I should try to do so more often afterwards.

going outside with Sean after dinner and playing baseball with him (well, watching him swing at the ball. he actually hits it sometimes!)
popsicles when it is ungodly hot outside.
Having Monday off and spending it with DH and DD.
Finally finding a new purse that I love.
A short work week that has gone by fairly quickly.
Mia proudly sounding out and spelling "kiss" and "hug" this morning on the way to school. I'm teaching my girl to read and I'm proud of both of us!
Knowing I dont have to go anywhere at night and I can just relax.
Feeling Nugget move around inside me. Hopefully DH will be able to feel it soon, too.
When I sneak over to the closet, quietly grab Jade's leash and walking collar, and walk by her on my way to the front door. Just seeing her realize what I have in my hand and what it means we will be doing makes me smile. She gets the cutest look on her face.
-driving in a freshly vacuumed and cleaned car
-a sink full of dirty dishes from dinner and an empty dishwaher to put them in
-hearing a good song on the way to work
-seeing my morning glories in the morning--pretty purple ones
-when they have good brownies in the cafeteria in the morning
Seeing all my hard work finished in my bathroom at my parents.
Snuggling with Harley this morning on the couch.
Singing at the top of my lungs in the car on the way to work this morning.
-The lingering smell of Eternity in the bathroom after DH leaves in the morning.
-Walking in the dirt all of the way to the back corner of our yard and daydreaming about what we'll do with the new space one day.
-Snuggling with DS at the end of the night while he "sings" along with the Pajanimals.

Watching a really good thunderstorm
Cleaning the house and having it smell so clean
Laying in bed on the weekends, letting all the dogs (fosters too) on the bed, and snuggling with DH, the pets, and watching TV
A good trail run with Spike
Sleeping in and waking up with Keefer's silly yawns and rolling around on his back.
Going for long walks (when the weather is cooler)
A good fountain Coke
Sharing ice cream with DH while watching TV. (We finished it off last night and I really want to do it again like now!)
Bailey graduating from puppy kindergarten yesterday. She got excellent across the board!
