Eyebrow Threading in Triad

Hey ladies,

I usually wax but I am now on accutane.  Do you know of any places in Winston/Greensboro area that can thread?

Thanks!

Re: Eyebrow Threading in Triad

  • This is so out there, but I know over the holiday season, the Four Seasons mall had a kiosk where they were doing it.  Not sure about the other malls in the area, or if they are still there, now that the holidays are over.  Good luck!
  • There was a place in Hanes Mall, but I went there and it was really painful.  I'm not sure if it was just them, or me, but from what I've heard it's not supposed to hurt.  It was terrible though, and I've gone back to waxing.

  • if you don't find a place, could you tweeze until you're off accutane?
  • Four Seasons Mall and Hanes Mall both have kiosks set up in them.  I went on Monday to the one at the Four Seasons Mall (it's in front of Dillards).  I haven't had it hurt too bad on my eyebrows, but beware if you let them thread your upper lip!  It's really rough!  I think I would like to go back to waxing too, but with the cold and windy weather I stick with threading so the wax doesn't burn/chap my skin.  HTH!

  • Hi cm78523, In Winston-Salem area, suggest goto Special Threading Salon called "Perfact Brow Art by Threading" located opposite Hanes Mall, at Sails Creek Crossing shopping center near A.C.Moore and Toys'R'Us store.

Some people posted here said its painful, yet It's all depends on the Eyebrow Artist Experience also, if the eyebrow artist who is doing the threading is not have proper experience it may hurt more. Just like Waxing is painful at first, then once you experience waxing comes less painfull. Benefits of Threading are much better then waxing, for example waxing can damage Top layer of skin, or cause burns and uneven brows. Threading last long, 2-3 weeks, once you do regular threading you will notice pain gets less and less, your hair regrows lighter and starts lasting longer.

Eyebrow Artist named Bhavi no longer work at Hanes mall has moved to working at "Perfact Brow art by Threading". She's the best!  Many customer came saying other eyebrow artist at Hanes mall has caused much pain and lots of complaints recently. you always have a choice, choice is yours :)

  • Bhavi that used to be at Hanes Mall has done mine a couple of times. Like PP said, she's over in the shopping center with the TRU and AC Moore.

I really liked how mine turned out, and yes it does hurt a little. However, I don't get the little raised spots/zits that I do from waxing.

  • You can say what you want about yourself Bhavi, but there is no need to badmouth the Hanes mall store.  If you think that you're the best, you are entitled to your own opinion. Maybe in India it is OK to bash the competition in an effort to make yourself look better, but I consider it unacceptable here.
