How do you store your bananas?

We usually just keep them in a fruit bowl on the counter, but those pesky fruit flies are starting to invade, so I need to get everything off the counter.

Re: How do you store your bananas?

  • I break them apart and leave them on the counter, they last longer that way. Are you sure its the bananas bringing the flies around? A CW takes hers and puts them in the fridge when they're still pretty green/just bought. the peel will turn brown, but the banana will be OK under.
