I am back!!!
We are back in the land of reality. Sad face. Off to do laundry and fill up a newish fridge. The other one crapped out on us the night before we left so we had to throw all the food away we couldn't take.

Yes, we had a fantastic time getting dirty and finding gold. There was some hot days but nothing ridiculous like 100+. However, b/c of the late rains and snowfalls, the river water was over 6 ft and it was too dangerous to swim in. Actually it looked more like something to do for white water river rafting. So all the previous times we were able to walk across the river, we could not.
We did not find enough gold to be rich but enough to add to our collection.
We are booked for next year at the same time again. We figure if we can afford it now and pay it off while we can, let's do it. Alot can happen in a year and HOPEFULLY we will be an addition to our family next year.
