Advice/Tips on Panel Interviews? (And Demo Lessons!!)

I have an interview on Tuesday at a school that will be a panel with the principal, the head of the soc. stu. dept and probably another administrator. Does anyone have any tips about doing them? I've only done one before and it didn't go very well. TIA!

ETA: I have to back tomorrow morning to do a 30 mins demo lesson for a "class" of incoming 9th graders (and a few former 12th graders they can convince to come). Any advice?! I've done a demo lesson before.

I've done several. Once, it was the whole department PLUS a VP...that was hard. I guess just make sure you talk to all of them and be yourself. You face a lot more every day in the classroom.

Yeah, I just had trouble losing my train of thought with 3 ppl firing questions at me. It was disorienting for me,

Sounds like they weren't very good if they were all firing (and not waiting their turns) Usually I've had them have a list of standard questions and each take a turn.

Yeah, when I was taking some time to respond they'd jump in with a spin off question. It was strange. Did yours each ask all their questions at once or did they go back and forth? I would prefer the former.

I have done a few, but not in education fields. I had one with the owner, the person I was replacing, and the HR person. I would just make sure to start answering the question by looking at the person who asked it, and then look at the other people there as well while finishing your answer. Take your time and be yourself.

It went pretty well! It was much different than the last one, no firing squad feeling. I have to go back tomorrow morning to do a demo lesson. Never done that before either. Advice?!
