Does your DH.......

rangle you into his house projects????? lol

We FINALLY stained our front deck yesterday. After sanding, staining and being our there for a few hours.......I was thinking to myself, how did I get in this situation.  He always manages me to get me to help him. But I havent figured out how to get him to want to scrub the toilets (without just asking) lol

It looks awesome, Im sore but happy its done!

  • Depends on what it is.  I have worked the pregnancy card since we have been in this house.

  • It's exactly the opposite at my house -- if I want any home projects to get done, I have to start them and then DH jumps in when I'm "not doing it right" to take over.  I can't play that card too often, though, because he might start to catch on!  Devil

  • um. yeah.
sometimes all you really need in life is a pink wig.
  • Pffffffffffffffffffffffft. MH doesn't do too many projects around the house so my answer would be no. When he does do something, I don't have to help but I do have to supervise.

LOL - I supervise as well, and keep 911 on speed dial...lord knows C (as wonderful as he is...) isn't handy. FOR REAL! I've been praying all morning that the awning doesn't fall off the house and hurt himself while he's changing a piece of wood above the doors. Ughh. I should have had a Nanny cam installed.

  • He used to but, with an active toddler now I take G away for the weekend so he can get things done without little hands in the way :)

  • DH is the exact opposite of a home improvement wrangler.  I had to shame him into putting together some bathroom furniture with me b/c I needed an extra set of hands.  The fool insisted on using the nail gun b/c "he's the man."  That didn't work out too well.

  • No.  9 times out of 10 he doesn't want me helping because "I know what I want to do and it's easier for me to do it then explain it".
