DH left all of my presents out, but he's at work so I feel like I shouldn't open them until he's home. But DS is napping and I want to play!
And I'm not so sure I would be able to resist. I'd have to open one, at least, I know.

Here is my brandy new sewing equipment: (nevermind my horribly messy kitchen... I obviously spent DS's naptime Nesting today LOL)
So the only problem is my lack of fabric. The selection at JoAnn's was lame, so tomorrow we're going to Franklin Mills. But I did find a random hunk of scrap fabric (an Etsy seller I bought fabric from a while back included it as a free sample, ie no one would want it haha). I used it to make a little mini pillow, just so I could actually use the machine today.
And we went to an amazing dinner. Now we're back and DH needed to answer a few work emails (blah!), so I'm updating you all!

My mom quilts and we found some decent selections of fabric at a chain store called Hancock this weekend if you have one of those.
The problem with any of the chain craft stores is that I have spent so much time looking at diaper fabrics that I have become a fabric snob. I know the brands and designers I want, and I turn my nose up at anything else LOL
Franklin Mills is amazing, and their fabric selection is awesome. I was in heaven when I went there!
Ha, my mom is a snob about fabric too. She's all, "the texture and blah blah of this fabric is not up to standard with what one can get at a specialty quilting shoppe!"
