Re: QOTD
Not sure I could top this one. LOL
My life has been pretty nutty but I am blanking and this memory stuck out one night my good friends father who was an alcoholic drove down our street and side-swiped about 7 or 8 cars (not all on the same side of the street) then drove his car through a fence into a large side yard and into a house at an incredibly fast 90 degree turn. He was not hurt at all but it looked like a tornado hit our block.
He got out of the car and proceeded to tell off the cops when they got there.
O.M.G. No words.
The night before my undergrad graudation some idiot hit 6 PARKED cars in my apartment complex. Mine was the first one hit. Needless to say it was totalled. Best part guy didn't have any insurance. But we are pretty sure he wasn't the one who was driving but switched after the accident when they came back.
I would have more sympathy if he was drunk but this kid was stone cold sober. I was sooooo pissed. We all heard it happen too. My brother and Nick ran out the door to the apartment and chased after the guy.
That sucks!!!
Three of the cars were our next door neighbors. They were so pi$$ed.
Oh wait I thought of another one. My sister witnessed a neighbor across the street get stabbed. When we all came out he had at least 3 wounds in his stomach and chest area and he kept walking around in front of his house (I guess in shock) with blood all over the front of his shirt. He was Ukranian and only my Polish speaking grandparents could talk to him (very similar languages). We called 911 but since we lived down the street from a hospital he started to walk their instead.
Dang Alicia! Those are crazy!!
They play the state basketball tournament at my school every year. Two years ago, we were up in the box watching one of the games because L knew the coach of one of teams. After the game started, I looked down into the bleachers a few rows down and a guy was filming the game with his video camera. No big deal...his daughter probably played, I thought.
Well, I look back down a couple of minutes later and this guy was not pointing the camera on the court, he was pointing it on children in the stands. I I could see what he was looking at through the flip out viewfinder thing. I immediately freaked out, whispered to L and we both watched for a couple minutes more. Sure enough, he wasn't filming a second of the game, only children. It wasn't long before the other people we were with noticed the same thing.
L is in charge of the facilities and called one of the on-duty police. The police kind of circled around the guy in various points in the arena. When the cop approached him, he took of running down the tunnel. They caught him and found that he was, indeed filming children. He happened to have priors on child pornography and was also a freaking PROFESSOR at the university.
I still get all anxious thinking about it because it was so disturbing. I'm glad they caught him.
Holy crud so glad you guys spotted that which reminds me of something........
OMG that is craaaazy. So soo glad you helped caught the guy. Those guys repulse me yet I'm strangely addicted to SVU. I just don't understand these people
