My grandma starts her radiation treatments today for lung cancer. She's almost 81, and not a candidate for a surgical removal of her tumor because of heart issues, so this is her best shot at remission.

That is awesome. If you could send one her way, that would be great.
She told me this afternoon that she didn't think it was working because she couldn't feel it. I told her you couldn't feel radiation, just like with an xray. She told me that if she could feel her tumor she should be able to feel this shrinking it. I told her that wasn't how it worked exactly. :-/
