B&M Monday
Starting it early b/c it's already been one of those days...
DH went out of town yesterday to Dallas which means the dog is mopey when he's gone, as am I. I couldn't fall asleep last night so I was watching Friends reruns on the DVR until 2am. I slept like crap which always means crappy day. Can it be Thursday yet please?? He's been traveling so much this year and already has 3 more trips books through September. Ughh...

DH is at banking school for the next two weeks
I'm all alone...with KR, but I HATE being by myself in our house. Plus DH is now acting like he's back in college, his roommates are all in their late 30+'s and DH "can't talk now because he's "networking"" yeah the F right, you went for drinks at a bar. :P (can you tell I'm a little bitter?)
I agreed to take care of a dog for 36 days. Yesterday she finally left. I think she did about $500 worth of damage to my house. I'm not very happy, but I know it's my own fault. Won't be doing that again.
My dog woke up at 2:30 am to go to the bathroom.
KR woke up at 3:00, I brought him into bed because I was so tired. This guy literally pushes me out of a king size bed. It doesn't matter how much in the middle I put him.
Yvonne, my heart breaks for you. You are one of the strongest women I "know" I truly appreciate the sacrafices you and your husband make me my family and I. I hope he comes back safe and sound very soon! Hang in there!
My B&M: I'm still Fin sick. I have had a sinus infection since June 30th. It has been almost 2 weeks. Parker has been sick too. I want to rip my ears off and pull my teeth they hurt so bad. I can't take anything for it either because I am still nursing and the antibiotics they give you to dry you up dry up your milk. I think I will call in sick tomorrow...
Also, I'm so sick of Rusty trying to guilt me into stopping nursing. If I want to nurse him until he is 18 months, then I will. I know he is Rusty's child too, but I think I have a little more say since I birthed him! Until Rusty takes him for 9 months all by himself I will always have 51% of every decision!
I had a sinus infection in June and took amoxicilian and had no ill affects on my supply. Actually, being sick had more of an impact than anything. You need to take care of yourself.

I injuried my pinky in my sleep last night. It hurts, a lot.
I have 6 days of work left over the next 2 weeks. Our farms have screwed up so much crap in the past 2 weeks that all I can do is send them "get me this ASAP" e-mails and shop eBay...it makes for a very boring day.
We have some "big news" (not BR) coming our way this week. I haven't slept well in 5 nights in anticipation!
Obviously, my B&M's are pretty dumb compared to some.
Yevonne-good luck! I can't believe he's been gone so long. You seem to be handling it so well and it's very impressive that you're running your place and lives together while Tony is gone.
- I am having a root canal this afternoon and I am SO nervous. I despise the dentist!
- Mags starts daycare tomorrow. I know she will do great and everything will be fine, but it is a big change.
- I hate bills. I need a money tree or to win the lotto so that I don't have to stress over money ever again.
I will have to call my doctor now. Hopefully I can get something because this sucks.
Yvonne, I have never heard of a netti pot before. I might have to look into one. Do you get them at the drugstore?

I'll answer about the Netti Pot because that is amazing too -- You get it right by the nasal sprays, cold and cough stuff at the drug store. It is really odd at first, but it helps. With my sinus infection I also had really clogged ears and I googled how to use the Netti Pot for that too.
Also, when I was sick I was drinking water as normal, but with breastfeeding I got dehydrated. If you feel your heart beating fast at all make sure you drink a ton of water.

We got that same lecture at Parker's 6 month appointment. We had to try the CIO method twice. It was the worst thing we have ever done, but it works. The first time we did it it took 5 nights for him to make it all night. Then we went out of town and he got all messed up again. Then we did it again and it only took 3 nights. You can do it! I would recommend doing it on a night where you don't have to get up and/or can nap the next day. The first night was looong.

I also had a sinus infection and took zithromax with no problem while nursing eli. I had no problem with supply and we are still nursing like crazy.
My third attempt at my driving test is on Wednesday and I am so scared I'm going to fail again. And DH and I leave for vacation the day after the test and if I fail I might feel sad the whole vacation.
That is all.
Hmm...even though it was my anniv., it was a day of things being off. Started the day with a negative PG test. Bummer. Then I forgot ALL of the papers I printed/put together for camp today at home. At camp, there are two kids that are just going to try me nuts for the next 3 weeks. I got out of the car at the gym and I dropped everything...then my bag with my clothes broke.
The positive is DH figured out how to get the used blackberry i had to buy to get email and internet because mine overheated and killed itself.
I'll take an anniversary re-do, please!
Here's the rest of my B&M after the fact that I was sick.
I sucked it up and went to work (nearly an hour commute in the summer). I was almost there, when the oral surgeon's office called me to say they needed to move my consultation from 2:30 (I was leaving work 1.5 hours early) to 1:00. So I drove all the way to work to only get in 2 hours. They are booked out for two months, so rescheduling wasn't an option. AWESOME.
I pulled up to the office, and couldn't find my keys in my purse. With the Prius, I just have a push start, so if the car starts, the keys are in my purse. I forgot I had taken the Prius key off my key ring to let FIL borrow the car over the weekend, and somehow my regular keys got left on the table. So then I was at work with no way inside. Then a client pulled up and I had to awkwardly explain the situation, while coughing all over him. Uber fabulous.
Today the universe was trying to tell me to go back to bed.
