Some prayers for friends
Can
you please say some prayers for friends of ours? A friend from home
passed away yesterday after a long battle with leukemia and needless to
say our friends and her family are devastated. We all felt if anyone
could beat it, she could. Thanks.

Thanks for being part of Kerry's page. We all really appreciate that. I know she got a lot of strength from all the support.

I am so, so sorry to hear that.I can imagine that her friends and family must be really hurting right now, and my thoughts are with them.
I've had two family members pass away from Leukemia, and DH's cousin's daughter was diagnosed with Leukemia when she was 4 (she is now in full remission).
I recently signed up for Team In Training (a program through the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to help fundraise for the organization). If you'd like I can add your friend's name to our honoree banner. It could also be something for you or your other friends to look into doing yourselves as a way to honor her memory. I've been truly amazed by the people I've met there -- both as participants, and patients, and they really do some great things for research and patient services.
