Did anyone else watch?
All week I was 'looking forward' to seeing this interview. Though it was done well it still was just so upsetting and disturbing I actually had a hard time falling asleep.
Re: Jaycee Dugard interview
I watched it all and I completely agree with you.
I was so sad for her and for her mom. I can't believe how much grace she had and an almost acceptance. She didn't appear to be angry. I can't imagine...
I know and she was incredibly well spoken all things considered.
I am so curious about the children and also about the step-father. They spoke about him so much when she was first found but he was very obviously missing from much of the story. I missed the 1st 10 minutes or so, did they mention him when they talked about the day she was kidnapped?
All they said about the day she was kidnapped was that her real father had never been a part of her life but she did have a step-father. I did find it weird because that's literally all they said. The rest of the interview, nothing was mentioned about the S-Father.
My heart broke for her because she literally had no childhood and even though she said she doesn't see their father in them, you would have to think that every time she looks at them, she's reminded of what she went through. So, so sad.
I also feel so sorry for Jaycee's mom. She never stopped looking for her in all of those 18 years.

I watched it too.
I agree it was much more disturbing than I expected. You hear about crazy news stories, but its a whole different ball game to hear her talking about it. So sad.
