I just had to run across three neighbor's lawns to chase after our beach ball sprinkler and slip and slide! I know at least 2 neighbors got to watch me running through the rain. I couldn't even open my eyes at times it was coming down so hard!
My neighbors weren't so lucky. Their glass table was flipped and crashed.
I do feel refreshed though!

Re: Holy Monsoon!
Us too! Well, cheap and lazy about it.
Me three.

I'm currently debating if I should venture out for my lunch break, or just hole up in a corner of our building with a book.
This is us but more LAZY to water it. We've been meaning to buy those sprinklers that you hook up to the hose and still have yet to get one. Our grass really needed this rain, parts of it look like wood chips that's how dead it's gotten.... poor poor grass.

agreed with needing the rain. Our lawn is brown all over
We don't water it because we're cheap, but we also see the results of our neighbors. They water almost daily and their lawn is just as brown, so what's the point?

Yeah, wow. We got caught in Greenfield Village, luckily toward the front, but it was scary. We were totally blinded, the baby was screaming, she was so scared. We got to the store and were completely drenched, the kids were so cold we had to buy them sweatshirts.
Then we got to the parking lot and my car was in the middle of a lake. Seriously, the water was mid-calf on me! I had to drive home barefooted because my shoes were soaking.
I'm so glad to be home and dry again...
