I have always loved to sing and have sung at sporting events and weddings of friends and family as well as my own. I do have a full-time job but would like to visit churches in my area and hand out business cards to sing at weddings as a side job. I don't really need a side job but extra income is always a plus, especially when you are getting paid to have fun!
I am just stuck on what I should write on these business cards....any ideas? I do not know if writing Vocalist is too generic.
Re: Wedding Singer??
I would suggest recording cds to hand out, and maybe make a website or blog where you can upload your songs and people can hear them.

I would approach church offices. When we got married, our church held a music night where they had a number of singers and musicians play for a bunch of couples planning weddings, and we had to pick from that group.
Good luck!
