I used to clip coupon fairly regularly, then got busy and didn't bother. I picked up a Sunday paper yesterday for the coupons and found all of two useful (to me) coupons. Is this the norm now thanks to extreme couponing or was it just not a good batch of coupons? I recall usually seeing lots of cleaning, paper product, and beauty product coupons. I didn't notice much of any in yesterday's paper.
Re: Coupon people
I agree completely. Yesterdays coupons sucked! I feel like it's been slim pickings for a while now. Although P&G had an insert a few weeks ago (I think they do one once a month) with coupons for all of their products, but like you said it's a lot of cleaning, paper and beauty products.
Recently I've found myself printing more coupon offline than clipping them from newspaper inserts. Although I still buy my Sunday paper for the coupons.

With Kroger, I use their e-coupons on my kroger card. I've started to notice that the coupons are basically the same between the Kroger e-coupons and the ones that I can find on coupon.com. I'm pretty far from an extreme couponer, but I do enjoy saving a few bucks every trip to the store. (I usually save less than $10 a trip)
I feel like I save more money shopping the stuff that is on sale that week.

It's hit and miss. There'll be a few weeks of bad coupons and then suddenly there'll be a bunch. I notice around the holidays there's not many coupons.
I'm sure the extreme couponers are partly to blame. I've noticed that many of the coupons you now have to buy 2 things
This is what I do, too. We've recently been saving some money by trying store brand instead of name brand stuff. I'm spending less than I used to with using coupons and so far most of the stuff has been pretty comparable in quality.
Me too! What's up with that?
I look at B2B website, she usually lists the coupons that are going to be in the paper. I have passed on the last 3 weeks of Sunday papers.
I just stick to my mperks and online coupons for now. I figure the extreme couponing is a fad and will go away soon, so I can go back to saving a little bit of money on my items.
I am still bitter about the change at Target too! But won't hold it against them, I still LOVE target!
I must've missed this. What changed?
What changes has target made?

Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think they allow you to use two of the same coupon. They gave me a hard time recently because I had 2 formula checks
Oh! I think you're right. I saw some idiot the other day buying 17 boxes of Count Chocula (or whatever that chocolate cereal is) in individual transactions because they would only let him use one coupon at a time for it... So stupid...

you can no longer stack coupons at Target. It was really helpful with baby stuff and some cleaning stuff. It ruined a lot of deals that I found at Target, especially being they don't double coupons like the grocery stores.
When I went, they said you can only use the manufacturer's coupon or the target coupon...not both!
Ditto. I haven't had good coupon shopping at all lately. If I do find a good deal the hoarders beat me to it (neutrogena sunblock incident 2011 to name one). Coupons go in cycles and also the holiday draws out bad coupons if you get any. I assume with back to school season starting the coupons will start getting better.
I am getting upset w/Oakland Press lately. I feel most of my ads are missing. I haven't had a Target ad in my paper in 3 weeks.

They do not let you use two of the same coupon in one order though. That did annoy me. They had one for laundry detergent and/or stain remover that I wanted to use and stack with mfg coupon. I had two coupons so I bought one of each. I had to do them in two separate transactions.
