well our news wasn't great and it wasn't terrible either. Her hips are getting better but aren't completely The doc wants to see an angle of less than 20 degrees and her left hip is at 23 degress, her right is at 33. Good news is her right hip no longer slips the socket and things are getting better each time so we go back in 6 monhs for a recheck.
If she continues to progress the way she is no medical intervention will be needed but if things stall or they aren't where they need to be by about 2 1/2 then we very well may end up with a brace or harness to attempt further correction.
So today we were doing a weight bearing x-ray and the platform that she had to stand on and be strapped to was probably 3 feet off the ground. Poor baby was terrified and then the 1st shot didn't come out clear enough to get what was needed. While we waited for that to be determined I kept her undiapered and she peed on me. Thankfully being at a large hospital they were able to get me a scrub top so Dr. Daff is on duty ![]()

Re: XP Maddy Hip Update
Poor Maddy! That had to be so scary for her!
But I'm really glad that things are improving, and I hope that they continue to improve quickly!!

I'm glad her hips are continuing to improve and I'll keep her in my T&P that she doesn't end up needing intervention.

I hope they keep improving. She'd be at an awful age to have be stuck in a brace or harness.
Oh, and Dr. Daf, I've got this rash......J/K!
