Last night she was on ABC with Diane Sawyer. Anyone watch it? I dvr'd it since DH was not interesting in watching it. He wanted to watch a doc. on the Killing of Bin Laden instead.
Who let the dawgs out?

Re: Jaycee Duggard
I watched all of it but the last 30 minutes which is on the DVR. She is a remarkable woman and I don't know how she did it for 18 years. I know I would go stir crazy and probably go out of my mind.
I love her attitude and that she is not going to let this get to her because if she let it get to her then he would win. Her mom though has a lot of anger and rightfully so, but I love Jaycee's attitude with all this. This is weird to say but it is like she was born to be kidnapped because I don't know how many people could survive and still have this great attitude if they went through the things she did.
I am interested in seeing the last 30 minutes because I would like to know the explanation of why 60 people have gone in and out of that house and never saw anything. I also want to know what they (Jaycee and her daughters) are doing now. She only has a 5th grade education so I wonder if she is going back to school to learn, what about her daughters, what her plans are now, etc.
I would be interested in her book but I am afraid that it would anger me, but I think it would be good for people to read and realize that even though bad things happen in your life that you got to have hope (she mentioned that she always had hope).
This is a remarkable young lady and I hope that her story can help others.
It did upset me that she was walking by herself but looking back during that time all kids (at least me and my friends) would be out of the house from sunup to sun down and never thought anything about wandering the neighborhood or places around, because back then it was somewhat safe to do that. I would not let my child or any child be outside by themselves nowadays, but looking back in those days you never thought anything about it.
