Can you please spill all the details of the SYTYCD taping you went to last week? I know you went last year and it was amazing and I'm very very jealous! I totally would've snagged your extra ticket if I wasn't 3000 miles away.

OMG!!! It was amazing! I SO would have taken you Rachel! It's great living in San Diego because you don't have to live in LA (or breath the smog), but you can go to fun LA events whenever! My friend and I sign up for free tickets and just wait on a waitlist until they give them to us - then we drop what we are doing (we are grad students, so schedules are flexible) and drive up to LA!!!

So, first, we sat next to Kim Kardashian, her hair is HUGE! Someone remind me, how did she get popular???
So, the group dance that they do every Thursday was AMAZING - it was Bollywood by Nakul! The live performance was Florence and the Machine - she's pretty fantastic! The live dance performance was a contemporary ballet group, and it was super strong, but also super weird (not my thing)!
The bottom was really surprising! Ashley & Chris (that was pretty obvious), Jordan & Tadd (I was shocked!), and Ryan & Ricky (everyone was shocked!). In the end, Ashley and Chris were eliminated - Ashley was pretty obvious but Chris did an insane solo and did not deserve to go home!!! After the cameras cut, Chris literally collapsed and balled, it was so sad
We saw Ashley and her family after the show (they went to the same restaurant as us), and she looked pretty bummed, but she's 18 so she has a huge future ahead of her!
