PW: Photo of House!

Sorry for being overly-posty today. I'm really excited! Right now, I'll just post a picture of the front. After we paint and make some adjustments, I'll give you all a tour of our new residence :)

Re: PW: Photo of House!

  • Did pre-approval go through?  Was the offer accepted?  Has the P&S been signed?

I'm trying hard to not burst your bubble, but these are all REALLY important steps in buying a home, and I'd hate to see you get all your hopes up if any one of these doesn't go through.  Like Sarges said earlier, and I thoroughly agree, buying a home is possibly the most stressful situation you might ever find yourself in, so all I'm saying is the best way to go about it is by being cautiously optimistic, but at the same time don't put all of your eggs in one basket...

Just go with the motions, one thing at a time, and if it's meant to be, it's meant to be.

    Good luck...

ETA:  I saw you received the pre-approval -- congratulations!  Let us know how the offer goes!

  • Awesome!! Very cute place.

And as long as the seller signs everything, you'll be good to go! Hope it all turns out okay.

I tend to agree with MB about being cautiously optimistic. We had an offer in once (contract signed and everything), we were just waiting on the seller's to sign and do closing and they decided to pull the house off the market and not sell it. I didn't believe we actually bought our house until I had the key in my hand and used it to open the door by myself.

Then I ran around the house like a happy little moron, but still...

  • I agree with you all, but it's very hard not to be excited! We are currently living with my ILs (and they've been fantastic, don't get me wrong), but we are currently living in a 9x10 bedroom and everything we own other than clothing and bathroom supplies is in storage. It's much different than a 1900 sq. ft. house.
