What's over your bed?
We bought a new bed a few weeks ago. We had a set of 4 metal art pieces hung over it, but they too large now, so I need something new to hang over the bed. It's a king sized bed, so something pretty big. I don't really want to look for art, because the colors are so specific (olivey green paint, yellow and white duvet) and I feel I already have enough of those colors in the room. It needs to be something more neutral, ie black and white.
I'm thinking maybe a different metal art, a gallery set of picture frames, maybe a set of b&w canvases. What's hung over your bed?

The space there is pretty small though, so I only needed 8x10 frames to fill it.
Do you have pictures of your room? Maybe you could frame some b&w photography with a nice mat around it?

I don't know if you have a Kirkland's near you, but last week they were having a major sale. I got 2 huge mirrors for $30 each.

Sara- We originally bought a quote wall decal, but it's too small. I think we may put it over a door.
Rach- I thought about a set of b&w frames, maybe even 3 pics from the wedding or our travels. Hobby Lobby has frames and mats on sale this week.
I have pics of our bedroom, but before the bed. It's a wreck right now, and I'm too lazy to get up, clean it, and take pics. I just want to click things and call it productive.
LOLZ -- thats the first thing I thought of too.....
We just bought a wrought iron headboard for our bed this weekend - the designs are pretty intricate, so that's enough glam for above the bed IMO...

I'm no help either. There's nothing above our bed. We have a pretty wrought iron headboard as well. I'll probably figure out something to put over there (our bedroom is pretty bland) once I get the walls painted and window treatments. Nasty white elementary school roll blinds and brown paneling don't lend themselves well to interior decorating.
Our bedroom is bare now - no artwork or pictures yet so I will be begging for help once I get it cleaned up!
