So your a library book hog too huh!?!?! I owe way to much to them because we "lost" a couple books for a while that my little one had gotten out! Oh and this isnt the 1st time i have owed them money! Its the 2nd. HAHAHA

I once pulled my credit report and found a debt to the Carroll County Library System on it. I had zero recollection of it because, in my adult years anyway, I've been pretty good about returning on time and paying any small fines that I do rack up. I called to clear it up and the librarian I spoke to was flabbergasted that it appeared on my credit report. Thankfully it was only $30 or so, so it was a minor thing, but it was crazy!
As a kid I SUCKED at returning library books. Drove my mother insane.

Same happened to me. When we were in the process of buying our house, there was a debt to the library on my credit report---I think it was only like $18! Luckily, it was removed pretty quickly after I paid but still, what a hassle.
WOW your past due! At least according to your ticker. If that is true has there been any talk about inducing?

Over $200 in library book fines? That's just irresponsible.
It was i think 3 books. They charged for them being late, then once they are so late they charge you for the actual book plus a re-stacking charge to replace the book and a bunch of other things. The one book was like $15-$20 alone as it was a big book that had a few different stories in it. They hit you with all sorts of charges so it adds up.
ETA: yup just looked it up. They are all actually over $15 a piece to replace. Also i the time we had these ones out there were like 10 others we had out. Definitely learned my lesson though. I won't be getting that many out at a time and will make sure they go back on time.
