Anyone have 1st Anniversary Plans yet?

We are still trying to come up with something good. Have any of you ladys starting plans for what you will be doing for your 1st Anniversary?

We usually do a big vacation every year in September. This year we're going to Africa, so we'll be at Victoria Falls for our anniversary. H is trying to convince me to bungee jump off the bridge into the Batoka Gorge. I think he's batshitcrazy! :-)

We might do an overnight trip to B-more, Philly or NYC. I am not really ready to leave my LO for longer than one night (he'll be just over 5 months on our anniversary), so our options are somewhat limited.

We will most likely be going to Key West. We also want to go there at the end of October for Fantasy Fest (Key West version of Marti Gras) Since it is football season Greg might not be able to get that much time off, so we might have to combined. This trip will also probably be out babymoon.

nothing as is fun as rachel (so jeal), but i will be going to key west for a week with the hubs and liaD and her hubs we got a house and will be there from the 1st to the 10th.

We will be in Disney from September 14 - 23 (9/14 at the pool, 9/15-18 on the Disney Dream cruise ship, and 9/18-23 in the park).

On our actual anniversary (9/25) I will honestly probably want to collaborate on a nice meal at home since we will have eaten out for so long on vacation. I get really sick of doing that really quickly. And we'll eat our wedding cake.

We were sick on our honeymoon, so I didn't even have to convince DH to do something for our first anniversary! We're going back to Mexico - but we'll try out a different resort. Now we're debating how long to go for. I want 10, he says 5.

Dude, I think Key West is just as fun. I'm jealous of your trip! I've never been to Key West and would love to go. I've gotta get all these exotic, far off trips out of my system before the babies start poppin' out, though. :-)

Dude, I think Key West is just as fun. I'm jealous of your trip! I've never been to Key West and would love to go. I've gotta get all these exotic, far off trips out of my system before the babies start poppin' out, though. :-)

I agree but we are also huge fans of Key West.

I also suggested Sunshine going to the Keys pre babies. As you can do A LOT of drinking!!! I am so thankful we have a built in babysitter there

We are doing to D I S N E Y L A N D! I mentioned this a week ago but now for reals we're going to go, need to solidify the dates as Space Mountain is closed until the 15 or 16th and since PoTC will be shut down I want DH to go on at least one original ride. Our anniversary is also DH's birthday so maybe he'll get a button and we can get the Mickey/Minnie wedding ears. I haven't been there since 2003 and DH has never been so it will be tons of fun. And I don't think I'll have my first IUI by mid-September or be KU then, but will find out more specifics next week when I meet with our RE.

I'm so jealous of everyone's trips! We are going to Cape May, NJ a few weeks before, but that's it, nothing spectacular. I do need a little advice. Are you giving gifts? I can't decide between boudair photos or having 1 year anniversary photos done together. Our engagement pictures weren't anything special and I came across this really amazing photographer who I would love to recapture our love. I think he'd enjoy the boudair more, but after looking at them once, I don't know if we could actually display them in the house so maybe the couples photos would be a better option. Any input?
