I've been reading "The Unhealthy Truth", which is written by the same lady in this disturbing video:

I'm in shock and disbelief about what I have been reading in her book and in my other research. I even cried at one point because I felt like such a terrible Mom for eating this stuff before. I know I didn't know better at the time, but the Mama guilt has really kicked in! I guess I had too much trust in our system?!
It's interesting to me that Japan, all 27 European countries, Australia, New Zealand, and others either forbid GMO's or have a law requiring that foods with GMOs be labeled. The US is the main producer and proponent of GMOs and it is law here to NOT label products with GMOs. Hmmmm, I wonder why?! $$. Also interesting that other countries save soy formula as a last resort and we give it willingly here. Also interesting that peanut allergies have increased 400% since the start of GMOs in the 90s... and that is just one example.
Anyhow, I would love to see all GMO products labeled as such. If I even knew what a GMO was or saw that verbiage at the grocery store, perhaps I would have looked into them sooner, changed my habits, and maybe Margot wouldn't have the food issues that she has now. Maybe this can help other Moms prevent themselves, and more importantly, their kids from acquiring food allergies, asthma, ADHD, ear infections, cancers, infertility, etc. My research on this stuff is scary and the lack of research before they allowed GMOs into our grocery stores is extremely scary! We're probably going to end up killing ourselves in the long run if we don't change our food habits.
So, if you could sign this, I would really appreciate it! I also recommend reading The Unhealthy Truth, especially the Mamas. It's a very informative, yet easy and interesting read. I wish someone would have told me about this years ago and definitely before I got pregnant.
Thanks a bunch ladies!!
