New running shoes!
I finally went to go buy shoes - thank goodness. C25K is going okay, although I still feel like a beginner and do each week twice before moving on.
I went to Marathon Sports off of 50th and Penn and they were absolutley fantastic. I told them I was a beginner and had no idea what to do and they spent about 30 min looking at my bare feet standing, walking, etc. Put in my a few different types of shoes and they I ran outside in each to figure out which one I like the best.
If anyone is thinking about new running, etc shoes, I vote for them. They also have a two week return policy if you get fitted with them and end up not liking them. Plus, since I'm a new customer I got 20% off my first pair of shoes

NICE!! It made a world of difference when I got new shoes. Turns out my old shoes were doing nothing for me.

Evan James was born 1/24/13 and matched with us 2/20/13. The LOVE OF MY LIFE!!!
Yeah, I was (obviously) really happy with them. And my run today was almost effortless (I went up a week on C25K).
Kiz, I ended up with asics gt-2160. I already have big feet at an 11, and he put me in an 11.5! *gasp* But they are super comfy, so it's all worth it.
