Who has an awesome stuffed pepper recipe they want to share with me?
Re: LAST food question
The ones we make aren't fancy and we kind of improvise...
green bell peppers (x2) seeded and ready to stuff
saute onion, garlic in saute pan,we use turkey kielbasa or chicken sausage and chop it and saute w/ onion/garlic... then add in a can of rinsed black beans, a can of crushed tomatoes (about a 14.5 oz can). When that is combined and cooked, about 15 min, add in about a cup of cooked rice.
Stuff peppers and add in some shredded monterey jack or cheddar or a combo
Bake at 350 til cheese is melted.
PGAL/PAL Always Welcome
Thanks, Tonya. I found Kate's recipe.
And thanks, Jackie. Do you boil the peppers first? Or just bake them raw?
