Do you start sign language with Ruby this early? Have you started using it, or will it be necessary with her? I took a class in middle school and learned a lot of sign language (but it was Signing Exact English, not American Sign Language--they are different) and I have always been fascinated by it. I kind of always regretted not pursuing something with deaf education.
We've started a few simple signs. I'm hoping to take a SEE class later this month if I can make childcare work. Her deaf ed teacher is going to set up a time later this month or early next month to teach us and our family some more every day signs as well.

As for your question, I knew that the mom's side determines the chance of twins and only fraternal twins are hereditary, so I wasn't too worried about H being a twin. I was a bit concerned about the six sets of them between my mom's and dad's sides, though.
I think twins are awesome...when other people have them! I just don't know that I could handle two children at the exact same age throughout their wholes lives.
- Are you upset that you put your house on the market even though things weren't firmed up with DH's job?
- Do you still intend to sell your house even though the job fell through?
- Has the dust settled between the IL's finding out?
- Did your sister (?) get out of that relationship where the guy was showing up at your house (I think that was the story)?
