This guy I know has 1750. I mean, really? Really? I don't think it is possible to know 1750 people. But maybe that isn't so crazy...?

i have a lot, but a lot of them are industry people. since so many of us are small business, it's very "friendly" and social media driven.
but yeah, i don't have 1750...lol.

I know someone in nonprofit who has 4131 friends. I understand her use of the site to reach out to people.
It's also a reason I like that G+ has different categories.
A guy a I know has 1,901. There is a girl I know who has 1,007 but I think a lot of them are people she meets at the club she works at.

I'm at 565 and only friend people I know more than just acquaintances IRL. I have a few friends that are in the 1000s. They are photographers, and do their proofs on FB.
DH has lots of friends from when he worked for Paramount and those people friend everyone. Hell, they will friend you, your friends, and their friends if they can.
I would understand if it were all social networking for business, but when those same people post information about what they are having for lunch it is just stupid.
I don't friend much of anyone. I think I have 20 friends on FB. Only the select few get to read my stupid posts.

My cousin has 1200+. And she is a sophomore in college with no business links at all. Crazy. I think people like her just add friends of friends of friends, just to get their numbers up. I mean, she's always been popular and all, but really?
