What's the longest you've ever gone without having a shower?
Re: QOTD - 7.12.2011
6 days while hiking in Yosemite. The shower after a long backcountry hike is pretty much the most amazing shower ever.
A month? But wait, before you ae totally grossed out:
When I was in college I rented a house that only had a bathtub (no shower, no capibility of doing the shower add on at that time). So, for about 15 months, I bathed. And when I would visit my parents about once a month, I loved the heck out of their shower.
3-4 days after my c-section with Amelia. I had super low blood pressure - like 70/38 or something crazy like that. I had that with Allison, so I wasn't worried about it, although I would freak out the nurses if they weren't warned about it ahead of time. I was also a bit anemic. I was afraid that a hot shower might cause me to pass out and I really really wanted to be released a day early, so I didn't want to take the risk. I had packed face wash clothes and would clean myself up that way.
I had her on a Monday morning and was release Wed night. I think I waited the next day to take a shower because by the time we got home Wed night, it was Allison's bed time.
